The whole company started as an adult skate rink club and to look good on skates.Your entire office will be able to use your search subscription. MLR has marketed all their skates as being instagramable where they don't even have unfiltered picture of the skates on the shop page. I don't blame anyone for being upset with how their skates having visible defects like the glue and scrapes ect. It sounds like they need to work out their Quality Control at their company and figure out what's acceptable for their product. Most companies that manufacture over in China have a person over there to oversee the quality and and production but in the time of Corona that's not possible. Either they didn't have any quality checks/quality control at MLR and didn't even look at all the skates or they looked at them and didn't realize that they were defective and sent them out anyways. The one thing that was strange was that the first skates that dropped were sent out with major flaws like plates being obvs. Otherwise I can see how all the delays were because of corona and sending manufacturing overseas. I was really surprised that MLR was being sold and marketed as made in Hong Kong when they were manufactured in China, and later had to be corrected on their website. Their boots are excellent but there's almost certainly no way I'll buy from them again unless they make a major upgrade. It was fine, decent I guess, just not what I was expecting from a boot that is only $20 away from the price of Lollys. I got my SD's a few days ago and I put them on and immediately just felt. The list goes on, but it feels like if you try to criticize this company, people will flame you. Not to mention a TON of other things - no transparency about the Safety Dances not being fulfilled, barely any emails, lying about where the skates are made, having random "I know the owner!" people responding to people's questions on IG. I'm confused why everyone says Moonlight has been so communicative with their customers while Moxi has not been - I feel like they have both been lying a decent amount, but at least with Moxi it seems like they're lying because they're being way overly optimistic about how quickly they can get things done.Īdrienne said in a live (unsaved of course) while back that none of the skates were delayed long and they've all arrived at the warehouse - just to say that MORE skates have been held up at customs? It's starting to feel like she doesn't save her lives because she's afraid people will go back and cross reference them, lol. Not to mention that wasn't stated anywhere on their website. It's not 20 weeks, but it's still lying and unrealistic. They told everyone it would be a 4-6 week wait for skates from Aug 24th - and that's way past now. But I feel they've been straight up lying and NOT getting the (well deserved) flack that Moxi has been getting. It's black and woman owned and their boots are super cute and SUPER comfy. I'm confused and sad because I really wanted to support this company.
